The Home

Mizpah is a curious delight – part Delhi hideaway, part Aussie daydream – tucked into the vibrant hum of South Delhi. Created by Shaun and Caroline, it draws inspiration from their Mizpah Cottage near Melbourne, blending Antipodean calm with Delhi’s textured energy. The result? A four-room retreat that feels more like a charming, eccentric home than a hotel.

Inside, colonial nostalgia rubs shoulders with modern whimsy – rattan chairs beneath slow-spinning fans, whitewashed walls dressed in florals and block prints, and spice tones offset by dreamy Southern blues. It’s warm, welcoming, and just a touch theatrical.

The petite café shifts with the day – offering breezy breakfasts and leisurely tea-and-cake afternoons, before transforming into a quietly stylish space for evening bites and conversation. Whether you’re diving headfirst into the city or catching your breath between adventures, Mizpah offers a gently offbeat landing in the midst of Delhi’s glorious chaos.

Stay

Mizpah feels more like staying with your most stylish, well-travelled friend than checking into a hotel. There’s a quiet grandeur here – colonial echoes reimagined through a cheerful, modern lens.

With just four thoughtfully styled rooms, Mizpah Delhi offers the intimacy of a chic design led home with the polish of a boutique B&B. Each space has its own quirks and charms – from Iris, the tranquil blue twin with its own private entrance, to Lily, an airy perch with indigo walls and a street-facing balcony. Rose pampers with its private sitting room and verandah, while Jasmine welcomes families with its clever layout and cosy charm. Expect soft robes, natural bath products, air purifiers, smart TVs, and a dash of whimsy in every detail – all designed for comfort, calm, and a little indulgence in the heart of the city.

Food and Drink

At Mizpah Delhi, food isn’t just sustenance – it’s ceremony, comfort, and a bit of theatre. Our sun-drenched ground-floor café starts the day with cheerful block prints, heritage crockery, and the aroma of freshly ground Blue Tokai coffee and Glenburn teas wafting through the air. Breakfast is a joyful affair – think perfectly English scrambled eggs, toast baskets, home made jam, Vegemite, local fruits, cold press juices and strong filter coffee to jolt you into the Delhi day.

Come lunch, the vibe is easy and wholesome – with seasonal salads, simple thalis, and tiffin-style plates inspired by kitchens from across India. It’s homely, hearty, and honestly a bit addictive.

But it’s the evenings that truly sparkle. As the sun dips, the café transforms into something quite magical: white tablecloths are laid, 150+ flickering candles are lit, and a hush of quiet elegance settles in. There’s a whisper of old-world colonial charm in the air – polished service, gleaming cutlery, and food that feels like a love letter from our home kitchen.

In and Around

Delhi, darling, is a wild ride — chaotic, colorful, and utterly addictive.

At Mizpah Delhi, we’re perfectly perched to help you dive headfirst into the city’s glorious madness — with a few secret weapons up our sleeve.

Kick off with Caroline’s crack-of-dawn flower market tour, where bargaining is loud, the marigolds louder, and the whole place smells like a Bollywood dream. Later, she’ll whisk you off on her famous shopping sprees through hidden gems in the city.

Next door, Deer Park is a green escape hatch— for early morning jogs or accidental peacock photobombs. Then tumble into the neighbouring Humayunpur Village, where hip cafés brew magic, nail salons pamper your fingers, Korean drink stalls serve up something mysteriously refreshing, and thrift stores and cart sellers occupy the streets.

Just a hop, skip, and a tuk-tuk away is Hauz Khas Village—rooftop bars with views of lakeside gardens.

Back at Mizpah, after you’ve danced through Delhi’s chaos, indulge in our in-house spa—massages, pedicures, and all the good stuff—or roll out your yoga mat for a private stretch session delivered straight to your room.

And when you’re ready for the grand tour, we’ll hook you up with private guides to Delhi’s must-sees — from the towering Qutub Minar and majestic Humayun’s Tomb to the legendary Red Fort.

Feeling ambitious? Tick the Taj Mahaloff your bucket list with a whirlwind day trip (and be back in time for candlelit dinner—because you deserve it).

Dive into Mizpah’s whimsical private pop-up street food party: tasty chaat and gol gappas, the hypnotic beat of a live tabla, sari draping that turns you into art, and delicate henna tattoos blooming like secret stories. A magical night of colour, sound, and flavour you won’t forget.

Delhi’s got more stories than you can shake a stick at. Mizpah helps chase them down—with style, sass, and just the right pinch of delightful disorder.
