Who is KHYIM for?
Not for everyone, but deeply rewarding for those seeking the discovery of a place, the discovery of self, greater stamina, and improved fitness through travel.
Accommodation
We do not sell accommodation. We seek out places that allow you to move, breathe, climb, walk, and recover. Our hosts and travelling innkeepers have simple places to stay, so the mountains, not the room, remain at the heart of the journey.
Blue Zone Inspired
Inspired by the world's Blue Zones, KHYIM draws inspiration from Himalayan communities where walking is a way of life, meals are simple, nature shapes each day, and human connection comes naturally. Only a handful of guests are welcomed on each journey. The mountains ask for fewer people.
Destinations
KHYIM is currently in Dharamsala and Kasauli Village in Himachal, and Kigwema in Nagaland.

Kasauli Village
KHYIM in Kasauli is shaped by walking, fresh mountain air and a simpler way of living. Days are spent following forest paths, discovering quieter villages, and returning home to simple clean meals.
Dharamsala and Little Lhasa
Dharamsala is best experienced on foot. From bustling Tibetan streets lined with thangkas, prayer flags and old German-style bakeries, the town gives way to quiet cedar and rhododendron forests.
Days unfold through woodland walks, mornings at the Dalai Lama's Monastery, Tibetan cafés and wildflower trails disappearing into the Himalayas.
Farmland and Nagaland
In Nagaland, another story of the Himalayas unfolds. Distinct tribes, village farms and gardens, long walks, old wood-fired kitchens and quiet afternoons with a book define the rhythm of these hills. In Kohima's markets, baskets of chillies, snails and seasonal produce reveal another side of mountain life. It is a place where the digital world feels wonderfully distant.
Inn the Circle
A growing cult of people who avoid crowds, mistrust cookie-cutter hotels, and believe the best journeys rarely trend. Not everyone is looking for the same kind of journey. Membership is by invitation or application.
